Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are preparing to leave Kensington Palace to create their own new royal home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Castle over the coming weeks, ahead of the birth of their first baby at the end of April/early May. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex begin their nesting period, here at Buggy Revival, we've decided to take a look at Meghan's best pregnancy style moments.
In March, The Duchess of Sussex looked simply stunning in an embellished metallic shift and white Amanda Wakeley coat at a palace reception marking the 50th anniversary of the investiture of the Prince of Wales.
In the middle picture, Meghan Markle was putting out some '60s vibes in an Azzura swirl printed shift dress for a panel discussion in honour of International Women's Day.
In the far right picture, we see Meghan stepping out in an affordable H&M maternity dress for an event at the Mayhew Animal Welfare Charity in London.
Meghan toured some stables in February, wearing much more casual clothes, including a J. Crew jacket and Breton stripe top, plus Stuart Weitzman booties.
Splashes of Colour
The Duchess of Sussex paid homage to her host country when she wore the Ginkgo cape dress by Safiyaa to a state dinner back in October. The vibrant blue matches the hue featured in the Fijian national flag.
Meghan eschewed her usual neutrals for a visit to Birkenhead this January, pairing a long, red Sentaler coat with matching heels and a vibrant Aritzia dress. If the silhouette looks familiar, it's because she wore the same one in camel on Christmas in 2017.
Last month, Meghan Markle concluded her three-day royal tour of Morocco wearing the most gorgeous look of the whole trip. Her custom Carolina Herrera blue gown looked right at home in Mohammed VI of Morocco's royal palace.
Classy, Classic, Neutral
The Duchess of Sussex pulled off another glamorous look for a red carpet reception hosted by the British Ambassador to Morocco this February. Meghan wore a bespoke caped gown by Dior, plus a matching gold clutch and pumps from the same designer.
The former Suits actress recently became the patron of the National Theatre, and made her first official visit in January wearing a monochrome ensemble by Brandon Maxwell paired with nude Aquazzura Matilde suede pumps.
Meghan Markle opted for an elegant Calvin Klein dress and Amanda Wakeley coat for a gala performance at the Natural History Museum in London. A couple days earlier, Kate Middleton also looked stunning in all-white at the BAFTA Awards.
We're certain you all agree that the Duchess of Sussex has looked blooming beautiful throughout her pregnancy - smart when required, casual when permitted, elegant and glamorous when the occasion demanded, and always simply stunning and stylish.
